Azerbaijan

Dubbed the "Land of Fire", Azerbaijan is located on the Caspian Sea. The ancient city of Baku is listed on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites and is worth visiting for a walk and a glimpse into the ancient history of Azerbaijan. We will visit the Palace of Shirvanshahs, which is a wonderful example of Azerbaijani architecture that prevailed in the 15th century during the reign of the Shirvanshahs dynasty. The grounds of this vast site include the main palace building, the stone Pavilion of the Diwan Khana and the Shah Mosque. Also in Baku is the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, which is a symbol of modern architecture in Azerbaijan and designed by the world-famous architect Zaha Hadid. The center includes a hall, a showroom, and a museum that provides visitors with information about the country's history and cultural development - our program also includes a visit to the city of Quba and the city of Kebla as well - join us
